The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.” - Aristotle

I call myself, LE BohemianMuse: a passionate artist with the charming power of artistic expression that goes against the social convention, and attempts to approach life through their unique perspective. Through this persona my mission in life is to revitalize the influence that art has on an individual’s life as well as society as a whole, using the creative force as a mirror to reflect upon the joys and faults of the world’s past, present, and future.

In my paintings I portray the emotional dark and light sides of the heart, mind and soul that woman face daily, displayed in a dream like quality. As a young woman, I find that on a day to day basis, determining what is my worth. This is an inward struggle I feel that many young women are constantly faced with it.

What do we do when faced with such adversity daily? Do we step up and become the warrior that is within us or do we let ourselves be silenced and fade away? Each painting that I create is done abstractly and aggressively to display emotional struggle, doubt and yet hope. I find that through abstract painting I am not caught into the norms of simplicity, but rather I am opened to the world of the complex. Seeing that life can, at moments, feel simple our emotions are more intricate.
