Christina Bolden

Hello, my name is Christina Bolden and I am currently a Senior at Texas State University pursuing a bachelors in Applied Sociology. For those of you who do not know, Texas State University is located in San Marcos, Texas; which is a small college town nestled between Austin and San Antonio. Although, I am pursuing a bachelors in Applied Sociology I am also obtaining a minor in Political Communication. I am constantly educating myself on various topics such as, equality and diversity, issues affecting people of color within the LGBT community, sprituality and religion within the LGBT community and many others. I throughly enjoy politics, from analyzing the theories behind politics, to discussing future political candidates, I love politics. I also enjoy discussing politics, but I understand that a lot of people do not. I am an artist and love to draw in my free time. I am an advocate for the LGBT community, I am an advocate for those in need regardless if it's mentally, emotionally or physically. I am an advocate for the homeless, for those living in poverty. Overall, I just want to help everyone and be there for everyone when they are in need of someone.

I am currently about to embark on a major change in my life. My last semester of my Senior year consists of an internship which will most likely take place in Austin, Texas. A city I had never pictured myself living in before now. I always imagined the opportunity to go back to the city I was born and raised in which is Houston, Texas. Yet, opportunities present themselves at various points in our lives and I guess this is my opportunity. Although, this is a new and overwhelming change, I am excited for the adventure. Hence, why my headline says Beginning of my Adult Life. My blog will display and tell the stories of this new adventure that I embark on as well as any other activities and events I commit myself too.
