I am an experienced executive and director of boards, with 18 years of professional work experience; a consultant in marketing, communications and stakeholder relations.

Until February 2018 I was head of marketing at a corporation with a turnover of R1,6 billion. I have completed an MBA (except the thesis), and currently consult in stakeholder relations, social facilitation and mediation on infrastructure projects.

This is my profile overview:

- I spent five years as a marketing director and communications head for a reputable construction company;

- I started and ran an advertising agency and marketing consultancy since 2004;

- I started and pastored a church from 2008 until 2018, and during that period I led many community outreaches around the Western Cape and the Eastern Cape;

- From 2012 to 2018, I served on the board and marketing committee of Unashamedly Ethical, a campaign promoting ethics, values and anti-corruption

- I have experience in pharmaceuticals, FMCG, IT, business education, construction;

- I have project management experience from campaign conception to execution and review;

- I am a writer and copywriter - having written articles for print and online publications; media releases and creative writing for advertising

- I have set up a business, built a marketing department from scratch; and helped clients establish in-house design studios

- I served on the main boards of three multi-million Rand construction and property development companies; and served on several board committees and sub-committees

- I oversaw a multi-million Rand charitable foundation and a company's CSI initiatives

- I co-founded the Small Business Academy -- Stellenbosch University’s development programme

- I have lived and worked in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and have travelled extensively throughout South Africa, SADC and Europe
