What is it that we’ve all been given? It’s different from one individual to the next, yet it has the power to cause change?
Its Purpose! God has a plan and a purpose for each and every one of our lives.
Jeremiah 29:11
(NIV) 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
The Lord speaks to Jeremiah and tells him, He knows the plans he has for the prophet Jeremiah. Not only does he tell him this he declares it.
According to Merriam Webster, to declare means:
1. : to make known formally, officially, or explicitly
2. : obsolete : to make clear
3. : to make evident : show
4. : to state emphatically : affirm <declares his innocence>
5. : to make a full statement of (one’s taxable or dutiable property)
6. : to announce (as a trump suit) in a card game
And as it with Jeremiah, He also has a plan and a purpose for you and I.
There is no doubt that you have asked yourself at least once, “Why was I born? What am I here for? What is my purpose?”
Or you’ve seen someone operating in their purpose, they seemed to operate in it effortlessly and it caused you to wonder what yours is.
The purpose of the blog is to cause us to seek God and have him reveal what His plan and purpose is for our lives.
And the pursuit of purpose begins now!
