I'm a fan of sci-fi and fantasy literature and movies, rock music (the heavier the better) and tech & gadgets. I really, really like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Terry Pratchett and Gary Jennings, among others (films, authors and books).

Husband of a beautiful woman, father of a gorgeous girl and two very handsome young men and, now, proud grandpa of a mini-me, the new Barajas generation.

I love practicing and watching sports, especially basketball and football. I used to play as a hobby, and now I do it for health and to be a role model to my family. Now, I'm into running, preferably trail running, and it's an addiction.

I have several personal heroes. These are not the average ones that people often have. Mine are Carl Sagan, Stephen Hawking, Nikola Tesla, Michio Kaku and Neil DeGrasse.

I love gaming, since the early Pong and Atari 2600 days up to the latest consoles and PC games. It's been a long way.
