I am an Associate Professor in Universiti Sains Malaysia working in the area of functional materials and membrane for resources recovery. Resources depleting is a critical issue faced by the world and its recovery process normally is energy intensive and not environmental friendly. My research group is working in the synthesis of smart materials to recover the precious resources like metal ions, water and nutrients from the waste stream at lowest expense of energy.
