Shari Bootsma

Hello! I live and work in the Okanagan.

I am a special ed case manager for an independent online school. I don't spend the majority of my days with students, but rather emailing them or Zooming with them, talking to their parents, and arranging services with local professionals; or, like today, going around with donuts and collecting some of my students to go on a walk. To keep my classroom skills sharp, I typically TOC once each week.

I am a wife and a mom to three young adult daughters (and one son-in-law). In my spare time I like to bike, cross-country ski (just bought new skis on the weekend--I'm so excited), camp, paddleboard and read. I also love cooking, but mostly because I love eating!

This is my third course towards my Special Ed diploma.
