Whenever society believes of new technology, the first thing that comes to mind is usually a guy; rarely do people actually think of a woman. This is no real surprise because we live in an extremely male dominated society: individuals would not think women and technologies would go as commonly with each other. The reality of this is that this is actually far from the truth. There happens to be numerous tech savvy women nowadays. When people think of women within the workforce, often they relate them with financial and healthcare fields, but there are many females in the technology fields too. Not only that, but many people think women do not understand technology; to aid such a notion is absurd. Women and technology have been a mixture for many years. So while ladies may still be a group in the technology fields, will not mean that we are not generally there.
