Bora Zivkovic

I am a son, brother, husband, father and friend.

I spent the first half of my life in Serbia (then Yugoslavia) and the second half in North Carolina, USA.

I spent roughly a decade studying to be a veterinarian; a decade training sports horses; a decade working toward a black belt in karate, a decade in doing scientific research on circadian rhythms; a decade blogging and writing about science; and a decade building a science communicators' community and mentoring new bloggers and writers.

On top of all of this, I like teaching the best - from teaching Biology to journalism to horseback riding lessons, this is where I feel the most comfortable.
