Boris Brevnov

An experienced corporate leader, Boris Brevnov serves as the vice president of corporate development and global utilities for AES, an international power company that provides affordable energy to people in more than 20 nations. In his leadership role at AES, Boris Brevnov executes strategic plans and oversees transformative initiatives involving mergers and acquisitions, directional analysis, and new business initiatives. Prior to accepting his current role, Mr. Brevnov worked for AES as the vice president of mergers and acquisitions for the North America region.

Before joining AES, Boris Brevnov worked for the Integrys Energy Group in Chicago, Illinois, as the vice president of corporate development. While there, he collaborated with team members to bring about a substantial increase in the company’s base rate. Furthermore, he helped the firm complete a merger with the Peoples Energy Corporation that brought in over 1 million customers.

Active within his professional community, Mr. Brevnov belongs to the American Gas Association Financial Forum, the Edison Electric Institute Strategic Issues Committee, and the Counsel of Energy Advisors.
