An experienced international development practitioner, Boris Maguire earned his bachelor of arts in international relations and history from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and went on to hold positions in project management, administration, logistics, and communication. He is currently working towards his MPA in development practice at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) in New York City. Over the course of his career, Boris Maguire has worked for the U.S. Congress, an international media development non-profit, a technology for development startup, a development consulting firm, and a sustainable agriculture non-profit. In his free time, Mr. Maguire enjoys hiking, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and playing drums and other percussion instruments.
