Boro "Bob" Skoric has dedicated nearly 40 years to helping people reconnect with the world through sound. As an audioprosthologist and board-certified hearing instrument professional, he blends his expertise with a deep passion for his patients' well-being. He is the founder and president of Beltone-Skoric Hearing Aid Center, which now operates 37 locations throughout northern Michigan. His mission has always been to help individuals improve their hearing and overall quality of life.

Born in Eastern Europe and currently residing in West Palm Beach, Florida, his journey began in music rather than hearing care. For three decades, he performed Serbian folk and Balkan music, both locally and internationally, developing a strong appreciation for the emotional significance of sound. His musical roots began in the village of Donji Stepci, where he followed in the footsteps of his father and uncles, who played the guitar. Bob Skoric started playing the guitar at age eight, later discovering his true passion for the accordion under the guidance of a respected teacher. His talent and dedication earned him the "First Accordion of North America and Canada" title in 1985.

Skoric enjoys recording acoustic music in his studio when not working with hearing aid patients. He is also a devoted husband and father. His early exposure to music has shaped his understanding of sound, viewing it as more than a scientific element—it is deeply human. This perspective ultimately led him to a career in hearing care, where he has worked tirelessly to help individuals who have withdrawn from the world due to hearing loss.

Although not a doctor, he is certified in audioprosthology and hearing instrument sciences. His role includes assessing hearing loss and fitting patients with hearing aids. He is a member of the International Hearing Society and has previously served as Vice President of the Michigan Alliance of Hearing Care Professionals.

Boro has helped over 20,000 people regain their hearing. He understands the far-reaching effects of untreated hearing loss on relationships, mental health, and safety. His work is not just about fitting hearing aids—it's about educating his patients on the life-changing solutions available.

Boro Skoric’s work continues to touch lives. His dedication and commitment to helping others live more fully through hearing remain at the heart of everything he does. His mission is ongoing, and his patients constantly remind him why he started this journey.
