Aïda Borràs

Aïda started her musical formation playing the flute in the wind band of her hometown (Alcúdia) in Mallorca (Spain). She continued her studies at the Conservatori Professional de Música de Palma and the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears where she graduated with the best qualifications.
After graduating at the Koninklijk Conservatorium she obtained in 2013 the Master of Music in the class of Kersten McCall participating as well in the Master Orkest in colaboration with the Residentie Orkest.
In 2011 she was granted by “Sa Nostra” in order to follow her Master studies inside of the program “Beques d’Ampliació d’Estudis a l’Estranger 2011-2012”.
She received masterclasses from Paul Edmund-Davies, William Bennet, Martin Fahlenbock, Felix Renglii, Magdalena Martínez and Vicens Prats among others.
She played with the NJO, NESKO, JONC (Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya), OSIB (Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears), the Residentie Orkest, l'Orchestre de Picardie and the Koninklijk Concertgebouw Orkest Amsterdam.
Nowadays, between Lille and Barcelone, Aïda devotes her time on teaching and freelancing, always open to interesting projects.
