The Borrowed Life brand was created by Mia Resurreccion McDonald. From her background as a Nike store sales consultant in the Philippines, Mia learned the power of branding, but also realized what was missing from most commercial brands: the player. She developed "Borrowed Life" to focus on the player from the inside with a brand that would shine the spotlight on the most important factor in achievement: personal self-esteem and commitment.
Borrowed Life is a brand that recognizes each individual as a person with purpose in life. It recognizes that superior performance comes not from a product but from a state of mind that acknowledges one's own value and accepts one's life mission. It rejoices in living, yet knows that life is precious, borrowed gift.
