I am a software engineer with extensive experience in software & web development. I organize the San Francisco Ruby Meetup - sfruby.info

In addition to having developed major desktop products in C and C++, I have also built web projects in Perl, PHP, LiveScript (i.e., server-side JavaScript), Java Servlets/JSP, Struts, .NET, and Rails.

In my most recent project, I built REST API servers that delivered data to mobile applications.

After graduating from MIT with a BS in Computer Science, I taught high school in Liberia, West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer. I also trained Ghanaian software professionals in web technologies as a Geekcorps volunteer.
