On Saturday afternoon, the Ethiopian Federal Police and the Ethiopian Customs Authority arrest a customs inspection officer over corruption charges. While this was a victorious day for the uniform, it stirs panic among a group of businessmen over a container awaiting inspection at the Ethiopian Customs Authority warehouse, on Monday morning. With security alert in place and their inside man in jail, there is no way the container will clear customs now.

So much is at risk and so little time. The desperate businessmen decide to fly in professionals from South Africa to push or persuade the one man who can fix the situation overnight – Belayneh.

Belayneh is a dedicated government employee with an unwavering code of ethics. A loving wife and three kids he rarely spends time with. He is a busy man, sometimes too busy for important things.

On Sunday night, Belayneh and his family are taken hostage inside their own home. The professionals only have a couple of hours to make Belayneh see things their way.

The leader of the professionals starts to use Belayneh's family members as a strong bargaining chip. One that Belayneh is forced to consider. With time fast ticking away into Monday morning, Belayneh's son comes home drunk and jumps the fence to his house to avoid detection by his parents.

Monday morning. With hours left for the container to clear customs, Belayneh steps into his office forced to comply with the terms. While back home, driven by fear and survival, Belayneh's son complicates the professionals' intricately laid out plan in its last stages of completion.

The container is now minutes away from disappearing into thin air. Belayneh is fighting with himself over what is the right thing to do. Right for whom? It is not long before he finally gets a clue and decides to follow his instincts. A clue that forces Belayneh to realize what really matters in his life, but not without a price.
