Bouabdella “Bob” Bessedik is the Director of Player and Family Care for Paris Saint-Germain, the football club, where he plays a critical role supporting the club’s elite athletes and their families. Since 2019, he has led a function central to player integration, stability, and long-term retention, ensuring that players entering one of the world’s most high-profile football environments are able to perform in a fully supported environment.

Bessedik oversees all aspects of player relocation and lifestyle management, including complex international moves, accommodation, and education for dependents. Acting as a trusted advisor to players and a key counterpart to senior leadership, Bouabdella Bessedik manages sensitive, high stakes matters with discretion and authority. His role is widely regarded as a core component of PSG’s ability to attract, integrate, and retain world-class talent, directly underpinning performance in a high-pressure, global environment. He has earned consistent praise from both current and former players.

He joined PSG in 2011 within the communications team, contributing to projects across multiple sporting divisions during a rapid period of growth. In 2016, following the appointment of Patrick Kluivert as Director of Football, Bouabdella Bessedik transitioned into the Player Services function, before being appointed Director in 2019.

Earlier in his career, Bessedik worked with organisations including Al Jazeera Sports (now beIN Sports) and the Qatar Tennis Federation. He is married with two children.
