Yassine Bouhara

Yassine Bouhara is a founding partner of the Tell Group. Yassine Bouhara was appointed CEO Global Emerging Markets for UBS based in New York, in July 2011 and remained until his gardening leave in April 2012 after his resignation from UBS in October 2011. In March 2011 he was promoted as Co-Head of Securities in addition to his Equity Role. From September 2010 to July 2011 Yassine Bouhara was working for UBS in the executive capacity of Group Managing Director, Co-Head of Global Equities in New York. He was a member of UBS’ Investment Bank Executive Committee. Yassine Bouhara has held executive/managerial positions of increasing responsibility. Notably, from March 1996 until July 2009, Yassine Bouhara was employed with Deutsche Bank AG located in London as Global Head of Structuring. Specifically, from December 2008 until July 2009, he was Head of Global Markets Europe, Middle East and Africa comprised of 4,000 staff members. He was responsible for integrating and building Global Market structuring (multi-asset) with a team of 480 professionals from 20 different direct reports. From November 2005 until December 2008, he held the position of Global Head of Equities and Head of Global Markets MENA in which he was sole Global Head of Equities and Head of Deutsche Bank Middle East IB business managing a total of 2800 reports. From 2004 until 2007, Yassine Bouhara increased Deutsche Bank Equities revenues by €1bn EUR per year. Furthermore, from December 2004 through November 2005, he held the position of Co-Global Head of Equities where he was responsible for key Integration with the FICC business under the Head of Global Markets. From January 2001 until December 2004, Yassine Bouhara held the position of Global Head of Equity Derivatives. In addition, he held responsibility for Deutsche Bank Middle East IB business. Yassine Bouhara reported directly to member of Deutsche Bank Group Executive Committee and became a member of Global Equities Executive Committee. Moreover, from March 1996 through January 2001, he held the position of European Head of Equity Derivatives. Yassine Bouhara joined Deutsche Morgan Grenfell as a Director to create small Equity Derivatives trading des with a team of 3 individuals.
