Jill Dembowski

Let's start this off with a few facts about myself. I am a 28 year old women who hails from the great state of Massachusetts. I am a 2010 graduate of Salem State College (now University) and received my Bachelor's degree in English/Professional writing.

I was never quite sure what I wanted to be when I grow up and in all honesty I still have no idea. What I do know is that I love to read and write. Those two come easy to me as long as I'm reading and writing about things that I find interesting and enjoy.

Reading was highly encouraged by my parents growing up. For that I can't thank them enough. In 1998 my life changed forever when I started reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I was immediately sucked into the magical world that J.K. Rowling created. Not only did her books teach me valuable life lessons but they later on assisted me in choosing my college major. Rowling inspired so many people through her writing I hoped to follow her path.

Video games are also a huge part of my life. To me, gaming is more than a hobby. It's a way to escape reality and enjoy the company of others through online play.
