Peter Boyd: Boyd Legal

As Managing Director of Boyd Legal Peter has led the firm thorough 11 years of development to the full service legal business it is today. He was instrumental in the purchase, design and refurbishment of the former Clydesdale Bank West End premises, 21/22 Queensferry Street where the business has operated from since April 2015. The completion of this project was a fundamental step in the history of Boyd, allowing the team to come together again in one main premises and provide our clients and business associates with a beautiful premise from which to conduct their business.

Peter’s role at Boyd Legal is predominately business development and strategic initiatives. Major initiatives to date have been the acquisition of two will databases in Coatbridge and Larkhall and legal practices Umega and Abbey Grange. The most recent integration was the acquisition the long established Fife Kirkcaldy firm Gibson Spears Dow & Son who joined us in April 2016.

Away from work, skiing and spending time with family are his main passions.
