Boyi Kelvin Isede is a world renowned Cinematographer. To all his projects he has brought the keen eye of a visual story teller with the masterful use of making tangible and visceral what was once only ideas on paper through composition, movement, light, shadow and color.

Kelvin Isede is an emerging force in Nollywood, having launched his filmmaking career by directing the play tittled "Nkem the Love Story" in 2018. He was the former president of the House of Theatre at Benson Idahosa University where he built a strong passion and foundation in the arts, with a National Diploma in Performing and Media Arts, another Diploma from the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, and a Bachelor degree in Mass Communication from the esteemed Benson Idahosa University. Kelvin is a skilled cinematographer with an impressive portfolio of film credits.

Boyi Kelvin is also a highly skilled film/video editor with a passion for visual storytelling with almost 10 years experience in the Nigerian film industry. He has honed his craft across a diverse range of projects, including feature films, documentaries, music videos, and commercials.

His work is characterized by his unique insight for composition, a deep understanding of lighting, and a commitment to capturing the essence of each story. His works have stood the test of time and have progressed well into mainstream cinema nationwide as well as international film platforms such as Amazon Prime, RoksTv, Netflix, African Magic, etc.

He possesses a strong technical foundation, coupled with a unique artistic vision that elevates projects to new heights; as a result of this, some of his cinematography work has been well recognized atthe African International Film Festival, the Russia Ecology Film Festival, among many others.

His work, entitled "A Place Called Forward," a climate change advocacy filmfeaturing Wale Ojo, Judith Audu, and other actors, was created to address the persistent issue of black soot in Port Harcourt, resulting from illegal refineries along the coastline. This film garnered a nomination for Best Short Film at the recent African Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA2024), while another of his works, titled "Sunday League," was awarded Best Documentary at the British Film Institute. The documentary authentically captures the struggles of aspiring footballers on their journey to greatness.
