I'm an artist, potter, designer, writer and office worker, but primarily a sacred beaded-object maker - I wear many hats. I'm also walking the path of a student of Traditional Yoruba Religion and Culture. Omo Eshu Odara though odu Osa Ogbe and God-child of babalawo Awoyinfa Kori Ifaloju. I am, and am not, who you think I am. Born on a Thursday ,"Esu, mo f' ori i mi sun o Ifa je ki nl owo l' ode aye.." (Eshu, I put my trust in you, Ifa make me properous in life); "Onisuru ni yio j'ogun aye". (The patient person shall inherit the earth) Proverb: "Oni oko taba so mope lope so moni: ( He said the stone thrown at the palm tree is always back to sender), In other words, "What goes around, comes around." In heart and deed, I am a craftsperson and I wish to elevate the quality of Orisha craft in the New World, by producing excellently-made, original goods with a high degree of artistic quality and integrity. I believe in blending Old World and New World iconography, form, and function to produce wholly unique tools and objects for Orisha veneration.
