I am a senior at San Diego State University, soon to receive a BM in vocal performance. I have performed repertoire by Handel, Faure, Mozart, Wolf, Duke, Verdi, and many others. I plan to perform in the opera theater once I receive my degree, having learned the partial roles of Desdemona from Otello, the Countess from Marriage of Figaro, Saffi from Der Zigeunerbaron, and Zerlina from Don Giovanni, to name a few. I also pride myself on absorbing as much information pertaining to music history and theory as possible, and I am always looking for new composers or trivia.
When I am not singing, I am often writing. I believe the written word and the evolution thereof can make or break a society, and I strive to elevate myself through well-crafted self expression. This includes poetry, short stories, novels, and even the occasional song.
I love to read, and I am a total movie buff. You'll often find me watching the latest Oscar contenders followed by pure blood and gore B-horror movies. I am particularly fond of zombies. I am also an avid gamer. A whole lot of my spare time (which should be used for studying) is dedicated to mastery of our NES, SNES, Wii, PS2, XBOX 360, and PS3.
Recently, I have begun a video game project with some of my close friends, for which I will be composing and performing as well as writing the libretto.
