Ever since I was a young boy and my family got our first computer, a Commodore 64, I had an interest in computers and started writing easy Basic coded programs.

However, I went to college for a healthcare degree and graduated with a BS in Respiratory Therapy. But my interest in computers never left and I was always doing something with computers and the internet.

In 2002, I started learning about internet marketing, designing websites and SEO. My internet marketing education began in the sports betting niche, where I provided a blog with helpful tips and strategies - not picks, loopholes or guaranteed winning systems. I provided real tips.

The site started making some money and I started dabbling in SEO. What I didn't know at the time was that I was doing Blackhat SEO. After getting awesome results and seeing revenue increasing, Google Release their first Penguin update and my site was slapped silly and fell out of the rankings over night.

While I did recover the site to some degree, it never got to the same level. Devestated, I decided to turn the lights off on the site and partner with another site.

In 2013, I was approached by another site owner about doing SEO for him. Soon after, I was approached by other local business owners for web design work and website management and maintenance.

After a few months, I officially launched LocalMixed.com, my local internet marketing company and blog that provides internet marketing tips and strategies for local small business owners.

I love helping other business owners realize their dream and show them how internet marketing can help their offline business.

Local Mixed now offers Website Design, Local SEO and Internet & Mobile Marketing services.
