Board-certified ophthalmologist Dr. Brad Anstadt is co-owner, president, and physician for Gottlieb Eye Center, a private practice with offices in Melrose Park and Westchester, Illinois. With over 30 years in practice, he performs general family eye care, treatment for glaucoma and cataracts, retinal laser surgery, and various eyelid procedures. He also handles such administrative duties as staff scheduling, financial management, and Medicare compliance. Complementing his work at Gottlieb Eye Center, Dr. Brad Anstadt maintains a position on the staff of Loyola University Gottlieb Memorial Hospital.

A fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Dr. Brad Anstadt also belongs to such professional organizations as the American Medical Association and the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. He earned nomination to US News and World Report’s Best Doctors list in 2011 and received selection as a Top Doctor from Castle Connolly in 2013. Through the AAO’s EyeCare America public service program, Dr. Anstadt helps provide free eye care for those in need.

After earning both a BS in biology and an MD at the University of Illinois, Dr. Brad Anstadt fulfilled an internship at Weiss Memorial Hospital and an ophthalmology residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center.

He enjoys spending his free time attending concerts, reading, and playing golf, tennis, and racquetball. An avid White Sox fan, he goes to several games each season and often travels with his family to watch the team’s preseason spring training camp in Arizona.
