As a distribution and logistics executive, Brad Berfield draws on more than 20 years of experience in improving performance across the supply chain. He began his career as a transportation analyst with Caldor, Inc., after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Boston University School of Management. Brad Berfield was soon promoted to operations coordinator, where he developed the automated process to consolidate the return of merchandise from 122 stores to vendors.

Brad Berfield subsequently worked for Amphenol Interconnect Products Corporation, where he served as a production supervisor and later as the production manager. He then accepted a management position in inbound logistics and support with the Brookstone Company, coordinating all inbound transportation from both domestic and international sources. Successful in restructuring its import functions, Mr. Berfield renegotiated the company’s customs brokerage and ocean freight processes.

After rising to distribution manager at Brookstone, Brad Berfield left to join Walmart as a supply chain strategy manager. He went on from this position to serve in a series of increasingly responsible posts, a process that culminated in his becoming the general manager of a general merchandise distribution center in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania.

Later named the director of distribution for Wegmans Food Markets, Mr. Berfield introduced a new organizational structure effective across multiple distribution centers. He transitioned from this position in 2013 to become the Vice President of Distribution and Logistics for Coldwater Creek, where he facilitated a number of significant changes in support of expense reductions.
