Brad graduated with a law degree from Howard College, UKZN.
He holds a Master in International Business Law from the Universite Catholique de Lyon (France), where he was a Campus France Scholar.
He also holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, where he was Franklin Thomas Fellow.
He previously served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Mogoeng (Constitutional Court) and Justices Malcolm Wallis and Nambitha Dambuza (Supreme Court of Appeal).
He contributes (or contributed) to a number of platforms including Mail & Guardian (Thought Leader), the Continent Observer, Africa is a Country, Africa on the Blog and News24 (Voices).
He has also co-contributed to Bloomberg BNA.
Currently, he works for a global law firm in Johannesburg, and he is a political economy analyst for the African Prospect website.
