Results driven business development professional currently working toward an MBA at the University of Nevada, killing it at the office and doing all I can to keep up with my amazing wife and two little boys. As a realitivley experienced guy who excels at building and maintaining relationships my mission in all areas of life is to create value and loyalty with those relationships. As a business development (a fancy way to say “sales”) professional I need to remember that people do business with people, not companies. More often that not I’ve had sucess selling myself before selling my product. I joke with my co-workers that my job is to “make friends”, but I really believe that. Before anyone should trust a piece of their business with me I would hope that they at least like me and would trust me enough to be their friend. If I can make friends, build trust and credibility I shouldn’t have to “sell” anything, that part will take care of itself.
