Brad McDiarmid

I am a Google for Education Certified Trainer. I am also a Professor for the Bachelor of Education Program and Learning Designer at Red Deer College. My Master’s degree is in Educational Technology. I am a PhD student at the University of Alberta studying first-person shooter video games using phenomenology as a research methodology. Some of my professional and research passions are game-based learning, gamification of learning, game-based learning, storytelling, everything Google, everything Apple, mobile technologies and social media and how they impact teaching and learning. Prior to working at RDC, I was a teacher and administrator in the K-12 system for 13 years.
