Nye builds social structures, events and enterprises that share the intention to empower and connect people to help them live better lives.

Nye is the Founder/CEO of a new social enterprise called WeVu.com, a platform that allows anyone (individuals, venues, non-profits, membership groups) to set up film screenings and post dialogues anywhere people gather. Additionally, working collaboratively with others, Nye co-founded the Burning Man camp Red Lightning, the conscious culture club The NeXus in Richmond, the community wisdom site COREcommons.com, while producing numerous events such as TEDxMarin, TEDxBlackRockCity and ONE: The Event on 9/11.
