Bradrick McClam is a librarian whose work spans academic, public, and school libraries. He focuses on supporting adolescents in understanding and pursuing science careers.

Bradrick earned a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri–Columbia, where he also studied educational, school, and counseling psychology.

In 2019, he received the Beverly Murphy Scholarship for Underrepresented Students from the Medical Library Association. He holds certification from the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP), is a member of the Medical Library Association, and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Medical Library Association.

Prior to his career in librarianship, Bradrick taught middle school English and science and earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.

He began his career in journalism, working as a newspaper reporter for many years before transitioning into television news and digital media. Over more than a decade, he covered stories across South Carolina and Georgia, earning awards from the South Carolina Press Association and selection as a Science Journalism Fellow by the National Science Foundation. He has also presented at the National Weather Association’s annual conferences on weather and natural disaster reporting.
