Brad Whitsell

My roots are originally from St. Joseph, Missouri and also spent 10 years living in Maryville, Missouri where I obtained my undergraduate and graduate degrees. Yes, I am a Missouri native now living in and working in Kansas! Now that Missouri is in the SEC conference it is not so bad during football and basketball seasons.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Elementary Education with a math concentration and coaching minor and a Masters of Science in Education degree in Educational Leadership in the Elementary with a Middle School Endorsement all from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. Basically, I hold degrees for teaching K-6th grade and administration K-8th grade.

I have held a wide variety of jobs over the years ranging from: a farm hand, fireworks stand worker, gas station clerk, bookstore worker, Resident Assistant, Peer Advisor, teacher at a school daycare, teaching assistant for 4th and 2nd grade, Graduate Assistant for Student Activities, Complex Director, Academic Advisor and Assistant Director of an advising office.

I am a proud parent of our two daughters, Aubrey Grace and Makenna Lynn. They are 20 months apart. Aubrey was born April 16, 2015 and Makenna was born December 15, 2016. Besides doing the dad thing I enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities and sports is life within our household. ESPN is the most watched channel.
