For a little bit about me -- I am a software engineer currently based in Redmond, WA and looking for my first full time position in industry. I live on a tiny farm with a very excellent goat and two somewhat moody alpaca. Yes, you can contact me for pictures.

And I have more videos to show! This is part one and part two of my first ever virtual reality project from two years ago -- an application to helps students learn high level math concepts in a fun and interactive way.

This year, I was honored to be one of 20 international recipients of the IGDAF's Velocity scholarship to attend the Game Developer's Conference. While I did not get to go to the event itself, the IGDA Foundation created a new 8-week online program that connected me to a mentor, gave us amazing panels, and focused on improving our individual skills.

Now having graduated, I have finished my work on my Senior Capstone project, a Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition encounter builder for both web and Alexa. My team and I worked with React, MongoDB, AWS Cloud Services and the Alexa skill SDK to make an accessible website for people of all abilities. Our project won second overall best project for our graduating class, and first place in poster design. Visit the site here.

In July I finished my internship as a Software Development in Test at Swyfft.com, where I work primarily with selenium testing in C#. I worked closely with my mentors, attended daily stand-ups, and generally investigated failed test cases.

Previously, I worked as a Lead XR Lab Assistant at Bellevue College. There I taught workshops, ran events, and managed equipment. I mentored several teams of students doing virtual reality projects around campus, either directly teaching them coding with Unity3D, or connecting them with industry professionals.
