Brande Victorian

Brande Victorian is the Deputy Editor of MadameNoire.com. Her work has been featured on Jezebel, The Huffington Post, The Root, Clutch, and Vibe Vixen, and she's been invited to share her thoughts on Black women, media, and pop culture with a number of TV, radio and internet programs, including Pix 11 News, Huffington Post Live, BBC's World Have Your Say, MediaBistro, and the German documentary Der Oprah Winfrey-Effekt (The Oprah Winfrey Effect). Prior to her foray into urban media, Brande worked in medical publishing and was the first African American and female editor of the 67-year-old Hearing Journal. She was also honored by the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors for her reporting.
