I've been the tall blonde female traveling alone in Tokyo on the subway, had barbecued stingray in Singapore, layed beside a momma kangaroo and petted the joey in her pouch as it slowly got used to my presence, surfed the beautiful waves in Noosa, marveled at the kite festival on the sands of Bermuda, won carnival prizes in the middle of Prince Diana's Orangerie gardens, and walked the pitch at Old Trafford. I love life, and it loves me back in return! While travel is a wonderful gift, getting to do it with family or colleagues, is a special gift, but so is coming home.
I am a Floridian and look forward to returning home to the sand and sun full-time, leaving the cold wind and sandless scene of DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) behind; except for regular work trips of course. While we will leave the capital area of NoVA, I plan to still spend my professional years meeting the mission and needs of our troops and allies (just w more sun and better tiki bars).
Once the full-time suit soirée is complete, you will find me living out my dreams making craft cocktails for fun, while meeting exciting and interesting new friends at mine and my husbands beach bar, located in our B&B. While we know we will create amazing drinks, memories and a spot people will frequent often, either in their daydreams, or on Friday nights, we are not sure if the B&B will be stilted or floating. No matter the case, it will be a life and beverage well lived and crafted.
