i’m Brandi Amara Skyy and i’m a duende seeker.

My deep innate desire for a passionate, artistic, and soulful-expressive life has led me down a multitude of diverse creative paths - from artistic roller skater to Polynesian and belly dancer to the art of my soul, drag. Whatever label happens to capture my gypsy creative spirit at the moment, it is my eternal search and longing for duende that has led me there.

While i am a lot of things - drag artist, writer, visionary, magazine editrix, performer, and creative guide, i do it all because i not only want to share my ideas and the fruits of my creative spirit with you, but i want you to share your wildest dreams and creativity with me. My hope is that we, the duende collective, can bring more beauty, creativity, originality, and gypsy spirit into our “copy my style” “be just like me” world.

i am unconventional, unorthodox, and unwavering in my desire for making and being art that sets my soul on fire. i’m a word and thought traveler and a nepantlera of ideas and theories. i am both/and instead of either/or.

i am not for everyone . . . but chances are neither are you. We; however, may just be perfect for each other. The only way to find out is by asking questions and seeking answers.
