I have been passionate about the arts and design since a young age. My formal journey began in 2000 at the Art Institute of Los Angeles. Still, even as a child, I was surrounded by creativity—using my first computer at age five, taking numerous art classes, and spending countless hours drawing. Eventually, it was only natural that I pursued a career as a graphic artist.

In 2006, I founded Metro-Designs.com while living in Los Angeles, balancing freelance work with a full-time job. Over the years, by 2008, Metro-Designs had evolved into a small graphic design business, working with over 100 clients ranging from small businesses to major corporations. Soon after, my passion for design extended beyond traditional graphics, leading me to create Metro-Events in 2011. It began with opening my shop on Etsy, then evolved into a Zazzle shop and website. What started with just $13 has become a small business driven by my love for helping others bring their visions to life.

In 2020, the pandemic and the loss of my grandmother marked the start of a deeply personal healing journey. With no access to therapy, I turned to psychology videos, books, and journaling, using these tools to confront past traumas and grow. This experience inspired me to want to create prompt journals for people to use as a tool in their healing journey. In September 2021, I shared my idea of creating healing journals with my father, but his sudden passing in January 2022 put the project on hold.

Despite this setback, I found the strength to resume the work, dedicating one journal to him. With the support of loved ones, I self-published nine journals on Amazon in January 2024, each designed to guide others on their healing journeys. My website, JournalstoHealing.com, stands as a testament to this ongoing journey, offering tools for others to navigate their healing process. In addition to my ventures, I also serve as a marketing manager for a local entrepreneur team in Las Vegas, a content coordinator for a neighborhood magazine, and a marketing coordinator for a wealth management firm.
