Let's see. I graduated from Nothern Kentucky University with a Bachelor's in journalism. During my four years there I worked on the student run weekly newspaper The Northerner. I was everything from staff writer up to Managing Editor. I cut my teeth in the journalism world in that office and I met my fiance there as well.

Once I graduated I got a job writing for the Spencer Daily Reporter in Spence, Iowa which is in the northwest part of the state, close to the Minnesota border. I cover local government, agriculture, on the spot news, local features and I have a weekly column focusing on politics and media.

That's the professional side of it all. When I'm not stuck in front of a computer screen thundering away on a keyboard, I like to just sit back and relax. I'm into comic books, mostly Thor and DareDevil, and playing the occasional video game - Minecraft has taken up many hours of my down time.
