I moved to the Bay Area from Portland, Oregon in May of this year. I have a BS in Arts and Letters and an MS in Writing/Publishing, both from Portland State University.

My passion for publishing started when I was a teenager and made my own Xeroxed fanzines and chapbooks. Throughout my life I've been involved with several small presses, such as Portland’s Future Tense Books, where I designed the interiors for numerous chapbooks, and Ooligan Press, where I designed the interior for Ruth Tenzer Feldman’s YA novel Blue Thread, and the cover for Daniel Kine’s Up Nights.

Since arriving in the Bay Area I've interned at AK Press in Oakland, 826 Valencia in San Francisco, and am currently interning at Cleis Press and Viva Editions in Berkeley. I'm also doing some volunteer writing and design work at Maximum Rocknroll.
