Brandon German was the founder and publisher of Cuisine Orders Magazine, a restaurant publication that served the Boston neighborhoods of Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, Dorchester and Mattapan from 2008-2011.
Prior to founding Cuisine Orders, Brandon had a seven year tenure in the communications and marketing industry, starting his career with Radio One, Inc. He amassed a client list that included Coca Cola, New Balance, Pepsi, Mohegan Sun and BMW among many others. Later in his career he was hand selected to join the launch team of BostonNow, a local Boston free daily newspaper. He was also on the launch team of Touch 106.1 FM, a Boston adult contemporary radio station with a focus on the Black community.
Various roles throughout Brandon's career have included media strategist, media buyer, copywriter, advertising sales, sponsorship development, account management and marketing consultant.
Brandon is also the co-founder, along with his wife, of the Africa Reconnect Project -- an initiative with the purpose of reconnecting Black Americans to Africa in order to dispel misconceptions and erroneous beliefs about the continent. Through the initiative, Brandon and his wife have taken children and community members to Africa since 2008. They have visited Senegal, Ghana and Uganda. Their efforts are supported mostly through their dedicated fundraising work and community donations.
Brandon’s other civic activities include serving on the board of directors for the Black Community Information Center, Inc., and the leadership team of CityLife/Vida Urban. He is a dedicated community activist that organizes around the social injustices of workers' rights, corporate greed, foreclosure and racial discrimination.
Brandon is a proud graduate of Boston College with degrees in Biology and Communications, with a concentration in Marketing.
