"I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for" (MSG Jer 29:11). These are words that Brandon Marshall constantly recites, and uses as fuel to accomplish his goals in almost every area of his life. An NC native, specifically Eastern North Carolina, Brandon's upbringing was consumed by family, religion, & postiive traditionalistic teachings. As a lad, Brandon Marshall metriculated through Pitt County School System during his early stages of education & graduated from North Pitt High School in 2006. In the Fall of 2006, he walked onto the campus of East Carolina University where he began his Journey of Higher Education Majoring in Pyschology, Pre-Med Minor. However, Brandon wasn't ready for life outside the confines of his mothers home. He inconsistently attended college until 2010, when he decided to part ways.
In the Summer of 2010, Brandon decided to relocate to the Raleigh-Durham area. Upon arriving, Brandon begin to work. Through many opportunities of employment, even now, where he works for The State of North Carolina with The Dept of Medicaid, Brandon has been able to live a comfortable, enjoyable life. However, not a fulfilled one. He felt a pull to complete, successfully the Higher Education sector of his life. Though years, has passed, Brandon zeal for Healthcare (stemmed from his grandparents various, constant illnesses) never subsided.
Brandon aspires to be among the top of quality healthcare administrators. In his current role, emploed by the state, Brandon constantly see the need for quality, affordable healthcare. He hopes to bridge that gap. Currently an sophomore at the historical North Carolina Central University, pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing, Brandon plans to complete his BSN. Afterwards, he plans to complete a dual master program in Business Administration & Healthcare Administration where he will learn the knowledge, skill set to acquire his goal. Brandon understands that the road ahead is tedious & will require many sacrafices & investments, but he's willing to do what is necessary, so his life may truly echo Jeremiah 29:11
