Brandon Martins

Hello! My name is Brandon Martins. I am a recent McMaster University Honours Commerce Alumnus. I studied marketing, advertising, and sales strategy in school. I am fascinated by these subjects because they are a combination of art and science, that allow one to apply and master both the scientific and creative sides of the brain in the application of solving business problems. I am also fascinated by Entrepreneurship. The idea of building a company which allows you to create the career you want is so interesting to me.

Within University I was lucky enough to complete two work placements. The first was with J. Walter Thompson Canada, and the second with Ford Motor Company of Canada. I learned a phenomenal amount from these two companies and they were fantastic experiential learning opportunities to compliment my studies. I have used these work experiences with my studies to create a marketing communications company whose goal is to support the success of small/medium sized business owners and entrepreneurs. I hope that we can collaborate positively together and my skills and experiences can benefit you.

I also represent Canadian youth as a member of the United Nations Youth Assembly, which is a collaborative partnership organization between the United Nations and global young change-markers around the world. The assembly’s goal is to discuss how to solve global issues such as; sustainability, gender equality, poverty alleviation, economic growth, education, the environment and peacekeeping. I also write and speak about applicable business topics that can be of value for those interested in learning about them. I look forward to meeting you!
