Brandon Starnes

I was born in Baton Rouge LA, on Dec. 30 1981 I lived there until I turned 8 and then moved to Mississippi. I grew up in Wesson, MS and accepted christ when I was 14 years old. I graduated from Wesson High School in May of 2000. In 2001 I surrendered to ministry at Zion Hill Baptist Church. I received my Bachelor of General Studies with a concentration in Religion from William Carey College in 2005. I married Dana Chaney in 2006. Dana is also a graduate of William Carey College with a degree in Classical Guitar Performance. Dana and I enjoy leading worship together and believe we compliment each other very well in ministry. I received a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2009. I have served the church for over fifteen years.

This past year I had a radical freeing event in my life. I stepped out of full time ministry. I currently work as a retail consultant for AT&T. I occasionaly speak at events sharing my story with others.

When I speak, I think I bring a contagious excitement of God's word and personifying its teaching within the context of community.
