Brandt Smith

I am an explorer, not in the physical sense, but in the sense that I live to learn how things work. To take them apart and explore their intricacies in hopes to learn what went into their design and what makes the brilliant. I guess I'm sort of a savant tinkerer. Currently, I am tinkering with a BS in Computer Information Systems. Things are going well and I expect to graduate in early 2014.

In the meantime, I work in IT for Meridian Hospitals in New Jersey. I own a mansion and a yacht... oh, wait, that's Elmer Fudd. I just have a bunch of toys and gadgets and a modest apartment in Central New Jersey.

I enjoy keeping up on the lastest happenings in the tech world and reading about the new gadgets in the pipeline. I also enjoy learning new programming techniques, languages and algorithms. My main focus has been Java as of late, but mainly because the concepts and syntax seem to be very in tune with so many other object-oriented programming languages.
