I'm interested in almost everything life has to offer, but as we have limited time to indulge in our curiosities I try to focus on areas that contribute to a better understanding of life, the Universe and everything. I read a lot of science fiction, and I've dabbled in writing myself. I enjoy casting my imagination into the future, trying to envision what lies in store and how chains of events can be directed towards more positive eventualities. I enjoy learning about the 'mind', individual and collective. I'm interested in most areas of science and I am usually enrolled in at least one online course somewhere on the interweb. Nature has always played a big role in my life. Before I became disabled I would work as a warden in a nature preserve every summer, and as a child I spent my summers on farms in the Icelandic countryside looking after lifestock. I beilive that one of my main drivers in turning to art is the attempt to recapture the emotional bliss that I remember from my past communion with nature.
