Branndon is a nationally recognized CIO and
has spent the last 15 years providing vision,
leadership, governance and execution for
technology programs, projects and
departments.

He approaches IT as a true partner of the business and brings a
diverse background leading the development and deployment
of enterprise-level IT infrastructure and applications in a
wide variety of business environments including technology,
education, government, financial services, energy, healthcare &
manufacturing. His experience spans IT operations, infrastructure,
application development, project management, executive
leadership, strategy, & business development. His technology
skills and business acumen allow him to communicate to
individuals from a technical to executive-level.

Utilizing his ‘partner’ approach Branndon has helped
organizations realize business value through the implementation
of strategic technology solutions. Those solutions range in size,
complexity and scope including projects in both the private and
public sector(s); up to 100 million in total contract value.

Today, Branndon is a member of the Executive Management
Team & CIO for American Municipal Power, where since 2009
he has lead a complete IT transformation and was recently
named Intelligent Utility's CIO of the Year. Branndon oversees
all information technology, information security and SCADA
functions, projects and people. He is responsible for setting,
facilitating and leading technology strategy and tactical
execution.

Community involvement is very important to Branndon. He is
very involved in the local and national IT community. He participates, shapes & speaks at a number of CIO events.

Branndon has a BS in Computer Information Systems, and a MBA. Branndon has been honored as the CIO of the Year, included in the DeVry Wall of Fame, awarded the DeVry Pinnacle & honored with Keller's top 40 for 40th. He holds number of certifications, is a adjunct college instructor & the proud father of Jackson.
