Deika King

Deika King is the owner of (BRAS) Breast Research Awareness and Support in Texas. BRAS provides thermography screening and breast prevention education. BRAS is part of a small franchinse in the US dedicated to providing early prevention techniques to women in the community. All screenings are radiation free, compression free, pain free and non-invasive.

Deika is a Level II Clinical Thermography with a passion for education and women's health. Her passion stems from a strong family connection to cancer and the lack of education available to them. Deika holds a Masters degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center and has over 20 years of healthcare experience in various capacities which began in 1991 when she enlisted in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. Deika is currenlty working on becoming a Certified Integrative Cancer Educator, and will begin work on her Ph.D. in Mind-Body Medicine in 2015. Deika's goal is to continue to offer modalities geared at improving women's health. Deika is a native Panamanian and a Spanish speaker. She has lived in Houston since 1999 and has been married for 14 years and has 13 year old daughter.
