Hi - I'm very lucky to live in London, have a lovely son and in an age where being transgender isn't a crime.

I am a woman in everyway but physically and I am still learning how to deal with now that I am in my (very early!) 40's. I am trying to figure out how to come out properly and allow the real me to live out in life - probably means losing my partner, my job, my friends and my family. Who knows though I may be pleasently suprised.

I don't battle through life but I do suppress a lot - so I am coming out to you all.

I love fashion and creativity in all its superficial glory, the designers who thrill me include Orla Kiely, Lotta Jansdotter, Marimekko, Christian Louboutin and Tata-Naka. High street brands like Boden and Benetton are gorgeous as well. I love technology - its promise perhaps more than what is churned out.

I am a gamer, and still enjoy Final Fantasy for its epic vision and games that don't involve driving - I get to do that in real life no need to do it on a consle!
