Hello! I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner and I currently live in Austin, Texas.

I completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Science degree at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in July 2023. My research focus was on the effect of healthcare discrimination on diabetes-related health outcomes in Hispanic older adults.

I practice as a nurse practitioner and I am the Administrator of Education and Development for Advanced Practice Providers at Baylor Scott & White Central Texas. I am the founder of the Austin chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, and I am the President of Austin Advanced Practice Nurses. I also teach nursing students at Texas A&M University and have taught undergraduate nursing at UT Austin and graduate nurse practitioner students at Texas State University.

I am passionate about social justice, affordable healthcare, prioritizing mental healthcare, and serving underserved populations. Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy watching sci-fi space shows with my husband, cuddling with my cats, coloring on my iPad, listening to audiobooks, and lifting and tucking at Pure Barre.
