A protective services professional and private investigator serving clients in and around Stoughton, MA, Brendan McCabe laid the foundation for his career by studying psychology at Westfield State University from 2004 to 2007. After he graduated with a bachelor of arts, Brendan McCabe went on to gain experience investigating the use of funds in the public sector as an analyst at the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General. His responsibilities included supporting the First Assistant Inspector General by completing research, composing reports, conducting surveillance and interviews, and assisting with audits connected with state-funded affordable-housing developments. He also managed highly confidential documents and served on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Task Force, which was charged by the governor of Massachusetts to oversee the administration of federal stimulus money by municipalities and state agencies.

In 2014, McCabe joined McCabe & Associates, the private investigation firm his father founded, and in 2017, he took over as the owner. From his base in Stoughton, he provides a range of investigation and security solutions, including executive protection, background investigations, case management, due diligence, and client relations.
